Many relationships struggle and it can have a huge impact on our day to day lives. Leaving us feeling incredibly stressed, anxious and depressed.

Coming to couples therapy can be a very big step, it might feel like a last resort, you might be incredibly hurt or tired, one of you might be resistant or unsure what the future looks like.
Couples therapy helps you by providing a safe and secure place to communicate, navigate conflict, learn tools and strategies to strengthen your relationships whatever the way forward looks like.
Some people come in search of healing, some people come to identify if a rupture is too great to mend, and some come as a preventative measure.

Healthy Couples Course

Based on my experience working with couples, I saw how many couples did not know how to have conversations around the fundamentals of a healthy relationship. I wrote a course for couples in long term relationships to help them start to think and talk through the key pillars of a healthy relationship.

Healthy Couples Course


This is a 5 session course covering:

  1. Foundations of a Couple - values, commitment, expectations

  2. Communication - how we both talk, listen, and receive

  3. Conflict - how to resolve, how to bring things up, confrontation

  4. Intimacy - physical and emotional

  5. Personalised - reserving this session to use as most appropriate for what has come up in the previous sessions


There are questionnaires for you both to answer individually and bring to the sessions.
The 1 hour sessions are a mixture made of:

  • Discussing the question answers together

  • I will talk to you about each topic passing on some of the research on each topic

  • Suggestions for maintaining healthy relationships

  • Discussion time

  • Give you things to talk about in the next week


The material is based on relationship research, and my experience working with relationships. It is not prescriptive and designed to be flexible to meet the needs of your relationship.


The cost is £200 per session when the package is bought upfront.
